Broad-winged Hawk!

My first Broad-winged Hawk of the season. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I didn't pay much attention to the bird when I saw it since I didn't have my bins and wasn't really concentrating so I only really saw it through my camera lens.

These South winds should be great for migrants. Tomorrow they will continue and then Thurs switch 180 degrees and rain.
Wed and Thurs should have some good birds showing up.

Looks good for BWHA! There's strong SW-S winds going on right now here...up to 50km/h (30mph). Maybe a little too strong even for birding. I'll see tomorrow about getting out! Friday is supposed to rain, probably the same cell that is going through your area on Thursday?

Probably is. An Indigo Bunting was reported to Ebird at Horicon Marsh today. The migrants are coming!
