Great shots! What mm lens do you use for these great duck shots. I can never get close to wild ducks. Do you have any tips?

Hey Ali,

Tip #1. Use a 400mm lens.

Tip #2. Visit Horicon Marsh where you can get within 15 feet of most birds. :D

Seriously though, Horicon is one of the few places I know of where you can get super close to birds.
A couple others are Bolsa Chica in Cali and St Mark's NWR in FL.
National Wildlife Refuges are really good for getting close to birds.

Another thing you can do is find a spot where you can sit in your car. Your car is a perfect blind to shoot from.
